Library Recognition
The Institute of Museums and Library Services (IMLS) has recently compiled all state library data on public libraries nationwide going back to 2007. The IMLS report validates the Library Journal Index's report from last year. We have been recognized as highly competitive for a second year in a row. The Millington Public Library is one of the most productive among its class of mid-size libraries with similar budgets as those nationwide and among those with much larger budgets, square feet, and service areas.

Millington Middle School students take their love of art outside of the school walls and join Meredith Wilson, an MMS art teacher at the Millington library, for extra inspiration.
Every Thursday, from 3 to 4 p.m., the Millington Public Library encourages adults, youth, and teens to refine their talents and discover the world of art through "Art Busters," a class that Wilson instructs.
